DList Magazine: Jan 2010 Fashion Spread

The DList Magazine January issue is the "Wedding Issue" so the fashion spread of course needs to be some incredible shots to feature some great wedding gowns. I have visited Januik Winery in Woodinville Washington on a few occasions and knew I wanted to do a shoot there from the minute I pulled up to the venue. The setting was perfect for us and provided an amazing backdrop to compliment the models and the gorgeous dresses from La Belle Reve in Bellevue Washington.

Engagement Pictures: West Seattle Washington

Kelsi and Kurt asked me to do some engagement photos for them. Now this particular weekend I had done 3 photo shoots in West Seattle including theirs. I feel that I managed to get some pretty great photos of all three shoots and still make them look unique from the other shoots. Plus everyone does photos around Alki Beach and West Seattle so I had to put on my "creativity cap". I loved stumbling upon those sunflowers.

Engagement Pictures: Seattle Washington

These engagement photos are a little late to post on here. Shot them I think back in June. Lauren and Jesse's wedding isn't too far away actually. November I believe now. Got some really great shots so I figured I'd just post them up :) We shot around downtown and at Pike Place Market if you live in a cave and don't recognize it hahaha.

Engagement Pictures: Seaside Oregon

Seaside Oregon is just an amazing place. A stones throw away from Haystack Rock in Canon Beach and a beach that stretches out for what seems like a mile from the board walk. I drove down for Cameron and Diana's engagement photos and was really worried about the weather because it went from sunny to rainy to cloudy to sunny to tornado to snow (okay maybe not the last two). The pictures turned out really well and we worked with what we were given and photographed inside an arcade during the rain.

DList Magazine: August '09 Issue "Candy Warhol"

Augusts issue of DList Magazine ended out panning out pretty great for our "Beauty Issue." Our fashion stylist came up with the concept of "Candy Warhol" and had the hair and make up influenced by classic candies like Hershey's Kisses, Abba-Zabas, Jelly Bellys, swirl pops, and Pop Rocks. Then she found Andy Warhol quotes that tied in almost perfectly along with the photos. It was almost as if Andy was speaking about the photos themselves.

Destination Wedding: St. Thomas US Virgin Islands: Amanda & Ron

Who doesn't want to shoot a destination wedding in the Virgin Islands? Amanda and Ron had a really nice private wedding with their family and a couple close friends and it was really nice. I got the chance to get to know them all and made some new friends as always. 

Plus the "trash the dress" shoot ended up being in Trunk Bay on St. John. My father visited Trunk Bay when I was a kid and I had a picture of it up on my wall for years. I am glad I finally got to go there for myself. 

DList Magazine: July '09 Issue "Seattle Sounders"

So DList Magazine lined up a couple of the guys from the Seattle Sounders to be on our cover for July 09 and also be our models for the fashion spread. These guys are just way too much fun and super nice and had us in stitches.  Steve Zakuani, Sebastien Le Toux, James Riley were just a blast.
